Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian recording artist and singer-songrighter from Mission, British Columbia. She was born in 1995. In 2007 she was the third in Canadian Idol and took part in it's concert tour. Shortly after that she released her first album - Tug of War. Three years later she released a single "Call me maybe" which was an instant success. The single went to number one in Canada, Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom.
         Jepsen attended Heritage Park Secondary School in Mission, British Columbia. She also attended the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victiria, BC.
Jepsen is now touring in on the Shout it Out World Tour.
26 years old Jepsen is said to be dressed "too young" for her age  to look attractive for teenagers. She performed "Call me maybe"  at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. In October 2012 she is going to perform her new song to the public.
